Latest Redesign
With a new design the Ride is still the easy-to-ride board from previous versions. The updates to this new iteration are a blunted nose and an angular tail which gives the board a lot of surface area which increases stability and gives extra staying power in smaller wakes.
What the new shape does change is the playfulness of the board. This new 1 inch longer shape allows for the board to progress along side of you as you get more comfortable surfing behind the boat.
Once you’re ready to move on to more advanced stuff you can remove 1, 2 or all of the 1.75″ tail fins to give the board more liveliness in and on the wake so you can throw down bigger tricks.
While both the 2016 and 2017 packages are great boards the newest installment is $100 LESS and that put’s it squarely in the lead. Board, rope, digital goodies! Yep, we’re stoked to have the Ride in our #1 spot for the Best Wakesurf Board for Small Wake.

The Landlock’s construction is one of the best wakesurf boards for small wake boats and also for surfers just starting out because, like the CWB Ride, it can grow with you and move into the more intermediate level. The layered glass construction really helps the board last because it resists delamination, whereas, woven glass found in other boards will be more prone to this.
